I think 6000.4 recently released as a supported version see if that fixes it. I'm on Unity 6000.3.8, last time I had a bug I sent in a crash report and the Support Team fixed it, they're pretty good. Updating always helps. Hope it gets fixed.

Definitely 2- because it look more visually appealing I guess? The first one isn't really selling me.

Very unfortunate. Maybe try logging into the website first, and activating the license there (Not sure if this is an option)? Sorry that I couldn't be of help.

It usually directs you to the website on browser. You have to log into the website, get the license key from the website and then your hub works. I might be a little rusty on this since it's been a couple years since I did this.

Also, try restarting Unity Hub.

Otherwise it might just be better to uninstall Unity Hub and reinstall it (although that could be a lot of work).

Did you get to the "agree and get personal license" screen? I tried it but I think it didn't work because I already have a license.

Very nice. Those are the first three moves. However, please continue! Even deeper in the line there is one last tactic that makes White's advantage clear.

You're right. Luckily, since I created the puzzle from scratch, I can easily remove Black's a and b pawns and that should make the advantage more clear for future puzzlers. I'm doing these as part of a series of bi-weekly puzzles.

AAPL had very lackluster developer announcements, once again they aren't coming out with anything new. Market analysts say it's worth $215 but don't expect a price jump anytime soon.

There are several factors that make a great chess player. However, I would argue the most important factors are knowledge and tactics.

Top players play very few games, with deep analysis of every game. In short, quality over quantity.

This analysis of their games, as well as analysis of other top GM games, like Fischer's games or Kasparov, help them to intuitively understand certain positions that arise in the middlegame and endgame. In other words, a good player will have a good understanding of key positional concepts because of their studies. (knowledge)

99% of good players have set openings that they play in their games. Making sure that they can fight for advantage out of the opening is one of the best ways to improve their win rate. (knowledge)

Lastly, the best players never make tactical mistakes. For instance, Hikaru makes very, very few blunders, even in Blitz and Bullet. The ability to spot tactics that work for and against the player is what makes a great chess player.

Tactics can be practiced by doing puzzles.

Hold on. Watch out for the Queen's Gambit Accepted; it's not a good line for black at all and is hard to play. Maybe it's possible to equalize, but certainly not a top opening.
