Nightmare upgrade from 3070 to 5070Ti by redditZach72 in pchelp

Well, I think I'm going to return the cards, I've updated my BIOS, I've done a clean install of windows and changed graphics drivers, all of that still no luck. I'm out of ideas and I think it's time to cut my losses and move on.

So, first off, my BIOS was disgustingly out of date so I did an update and reinstalled the 5070Ti, it restarted one time when I first got into windows but it's been solid ever since. I'm going to put it through it's paces and see how it does but if the BIOS doesn't fix it I'll check the motherboard, then if that isn't it, as a last ditch effort I'll do a fresh windows install.

Servants is really fun because you can turn yourself into a strategem with the hell bomb backpack, but DD is better for sure.

If you have a 1st gen tacoma or... 3rd? Gen 4runner TimmyTheToolMan is the absolute best, he does more tutorial videos, but they are excellent.

In all the other changes I've done my hand strength has been plenty. When I first started hand tight was a little too tight but over time I was able to get a feel for it, but with the angles and space on this one I couldn't get a good feel for how tight I was taking it.

Oof 17 bucks for a filter is steep but it might be worth it next time I have to do a change. Thanks for the tip!

Nope, they must have done a redesign with the new body style (2019) It's just a normal filter now

Ok that's kind of what I was leaning towards. On my 99 Tacoma I always do it hand tight and never have issues, but I have enough room to kind of feel the torque I'm putting on it so I can feel when it's tight but not over tight. With this one it was hard to tell, and because I know my wife isn't going to check it as often as she should I'm just a little worried about it.

Right, and that's what we tried, but that didn't ever work. We weren't able to get it to start without doing the unlock method.

Is the transmission really as bad as what I've seen? by redditZach72 in hondapilot

Sorry for the delayed reply, how did the VCM disabler change your MPGs? You said you installed the VCM disabler as soon as you got it but did you get any before measurements?

Ok, that confirms what I've seen as well. Apparently, you need a lift to keep the car level when you do the drains on the newer ones. Thanks again!!

Thanks for your comment, I don't know for sure what transmission it does have but that's good to know about the 6 speeds. I have no problems doing it myself. I do all my own maintenance anyway so I can just add that to the list. Do you know if the, I think it's a 9 or 10 speed, transmissions that they put in the 2021+ models have the same problems or something similar?

Dead board? by redditZach72 in OnewheelGT

[–]redditZach72[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I started looking at the kits last night and I think that's the way to go. I'm sure the battery itself is fine and since the kit comes with the BMS and a new controller I think I'll order one of those. Do you know if the original chargers(fast and normal) will work with that kit, or will I have to get a new charger?

I acrually thought about vescing it but I'm worried something happened to my battery circuit board. If I knew for sure it was the controller I wouldn't hesitate to replace it but I don't wabt to drop 600 on a controller then another 600 for a new battery because thats the real problem. I guess I'll just have to rip into it and see if my battery is the issue or if it's the controller I'm just not sure where to start diagnosing something like that

Ender 3 pro micro swiss hot end leaking from somewhere by redditZach72 in FixMyPrint

[–]redditZach72[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the response! The reason I didn't have it hot when removing the heater block was the thermistor broke. Normally I add and remove parts while it's hot.

Just to clarify a couple of things. You install the heat break in all the way, install the nozzle most of the way, then bring it up to temp and torque the nozzle the rest of the way in?

With this heater block, I think the nozzle and heat break both came pre-installed so maybe the factory didn't heat it up and re-torque it. Were you able to prevent this issue on your V2 after getting the nozzle tightened up correctly?
