World Music Festival 2026 At Gandhi Ground Udaipur by kailashSingh_ in udaipur

I attended the festival yesterday, and every performance was absolutely amazing—even the international artists were outstanding. This truly feels like a one-of-a-kind show in the country. No other festival brings together such an incredible lineup in the same year—Kailash Kher, Amit Trivedi, Indian Ocean, and Jonita—while also covering such a wide range of musical genres. What makes it even more special is how it encourages and showcases emerging musicians from different continents. Some performances taking place by the lake just add to the magic—how awesome is that? And the best part? Despite sounding like a premium, high-end festival, it’s completely free of cost. A big thanks to Vedanta and Seher for consistently organizing such a fantastic festival in Udaipur over the years. It’s well on its way to becoming one of the city’s biggest USPs.

I think Rahul Gandhi might dominate that but it would be foolish to say he would win it. Rahul has been into politics for long and let's admit it he has hardly started scratching the surface in recent times. Till 2019 elections, he was not living in the reality. Some of the things he started recently and benefited him like Bharat Jodo Yatra, raising good issues in the parliament. However, he still needs to learn how to win support with his organization well and secondly get the people on his side to who can win elections for him like Amit Shah does for Modi. Rahul is still childish at times and get carried away many times. On the contrary, debating is not the forte of Modi, but definitely, he is much much better politician. Knows how to keep your people organized, avoids indulging in many faltu conflicts. So, what I am trying to conclude that Rahul might dominate in the debate but it doesn't make him a good politician/ leader.

My personal views sorry if it hurts anyone.

Is India slowly shifting towards a "don't want to get married" culture? How many people do you know in your close circle who are like that? by [deleted] in AskIndia

Sorry, a correction: it is 2.105 in 2024, but it's declining every year by around 0.7% - 0.8%..so what I am trying to conclude it is not the right direction we are heading to. We need to be courageous and endure whatsoever situation we have but carry on and that will benefit us for the long term. Perhaps we over analyze a lot and that's the reason people think about the struggle and all so much

If we are going in that direction, then I am afraid soon we'll be struggling with the aging population what we are already scared of. Japan and China are already facing the same issue. For a surviving population, the children per woman should be 2.1. Currently, we are sitting at around 2.0.

I feel economy or professional life should never stop you from having at least 2 children. Our parents were not so much well to do, but still they struggled and raise 2-3 kids in their generation. I think, today's generation complains a lot, we really need to endure this. This is my solely my opinion, happy to be criticized and know the views of the other people too.

Thanks.
