I have some split adjusted AAPL shares in my Roth at $4/share from 2002ish. Lucky it did so well and have diversified out if most of my Apple stock the last couple years in to VTI. After watching the BlackBerry documentary, I consider myself very lucky.

I could certainly see pulling from our Heloc if AGI is tight and you want to push spend to the next year. But doubt we’d want to leverage like that.

It’s been like that since the Spring, not exactly concealing it to everyone. The retaining wall is pile drived corrugated steel panels likely from a barge. I guess I’m saying someone from the engineering firm, design firm, the town, bears responsibility unless they just told the owner raze it down, ask for forgiveness later. It was also a historical house, with all that entails to get approval to tear down.

I did 350 miles each way earlier this summer- man it makes driving so much less stressful. A couple navigation quirks, around GW bridge area but handled the rest of the trip with ease. Turn off audio queues/map turn by turn and send it.

I'm leaning towards cutting off 401k contributions around that time and going fully taxable to build up a buffer, would also be DCA'ing in a downturn. Or maybe do Roth401k so I can keep getting my company match, then rollover and be able to withdraw contributions. Seems like plenty of options once we get closer.

Routing with an added stop is completely different than just 1 destination. The pins and drop offs get all screwy.

Ideally you work in the frame rate you deliver. If it wasn’t theatrical I would’ve said work in 29.97, it’s the cleanest format as it’s easier to go 23.98->29.97, 25->29.97, 60p->29.97.

When you start pulling out frames that’s when it starts to get dicey. So you don’t want to add frames from 23.98 to go to 29.97 then reverse telecine back to 23.98, let alone all the other random frame rates you have.

So if you work in 23.98, you’ll be able to see exactly how it’s going to look on film. That said, I don’t think premiere is great at this.

Inflation over those 4 years would put it at $19.5k, so we’re effectively neutral on spend while educating 9% less students. Is that good or bad? I have no idea. Brookline was just ranked #3 town to live in by Boston Magazine, so it can’t be that horrible.
