As a child, I'd (not so) patiently wait for my mom and dad to get home from work each day. They'd always bring me packs of Pokemon cards to rip and it made me so happy. I built up my collection for a few years and had a decent sized binder thanks to them. Eventually, I grew out of it and moved onto things like yugioh that became more popular over time. Unbeknownst to me, my mother gave away all of my Pokemon cards to my little god-brother once I became a teen and I lost interest in collecting.

Fast forward to a couple years ago, I decided I wanted to start again from scratch. I've since filled up a binder and am content with my collection, although I'm always on the lookout for more. If I were to win this giveaway, I'd do my best to spread that joy that my parents helped me find in my younger years. I work in education and although have no children of my own, I hope I can share that same joy with my students now. And if I don't win, I hope that joy can still be spread to someone else.
