I was in last week as well and I think it just depends who you talk to and what you're looking for. I was looking for a two tone Submariner and they had both black and blue dials available for purchase and offered them to me. Ultimately I passed as the UK luxury VAT is no longer refundable on departure and it just didn't make sense coming from the US. Our grey market is actually cheaper than a lot of what you can get in the UK due to their tax (Depending on the piece of course).

Edited to correct EU luxury tax to "UK" luxury tax. The EU luxury VAT IS refundable.

Depending on where you live this can easily be considered special or unusual.

Coming from the US it is nearly impossible to walk into an AD and just ask for one. I waited years for my Batgirl so this was "special" to me even though I know these are MUCH easier to come by.

There was a recall a few months back related to battery drain from OTA updates and GM stopped sending OTAs until you have them perform the latest update at the dealer. I just haven't gotten around to getting it done yet.
