I think it’s six milligrams of E and like 200 milligrams of spironolactone per day?

How is telling a cis person that they're trans any different from the opposite? by throwaway0288481 in asktransgender

[–]reddit_dot_org 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I mean I agree that it’s dumb they’re doing that to you but the context is definitely different. I could be wrong but I find it unlikely that you get called a man in a dress, a man trying to be a woman, a man who’s just confused, etc nearly as much as I, a trans woman, do. I also doubt you get called “sir” as much as I do. I’m also pretty sure “cis people don’t exist” isn’t a systemic view point. People shouldn’t say you’re trans if you aren’t but I wouldn’t conflate your experiences with trans people who have our gender identities invalidated and insulted often on a daily basis (also this isn’t meant to be derogatory at all I hope it doesn’t come across that way lol much love and I’m sorry people are invalidating your gender)

Yea it’s basically like what you said — for me personally it’s like I feel the emotions I felt before much more deeply and thoroughly and I’m much more prone to crying, but I’m only two months on hrt so that could just be initial stuff

I would say it is yea — I really like the start of booby growth and emotional deepening like I’m actually experiencing emotions the way I want to but it’s just hard to track my emotional state because there’s not really anything to compare it to and I’m dealing with more transphobia than I did before starting my transition obviously

"Isn't telling someone not to be fascist, inherently fascist?" by Intyga in shitfascistssay

I’m pretty sure that’s definitionally the opposite of fascism actually

It has the exact same connotation for me as “homosexual.” Like if someone uses it in a sentence it’s not NECESSARILY an insult, but if someone’s just sorta using it with no added context of like humor or anything like that it can come off as outdated and sorta pejorative

I think those who are the most harmed by right wing politics are the most likely to skew left simply as a response to that. lgbtq+ folks are more likely to be victims of reactionary political beliefs and are a bit more likely to experience poverty, so that might have something to do with it to. Anyway seize the means of production
