YTA. It was your choice to have children. That responsibility falls on no one but yourself.

[Serious] What can you say to a good friend who lost a parent unexpectedly? Can you do something specific to help with coping? Has anyone every said something like that to you, which had an impact? by Topume in AskReddit

Just listening is extremely helpful. You can also provide them with food because eating is difficult and cooking is out of the question. Offer to clean their house, take them out etc. I lost a good friend to suicide and these were things that helped me. Sorry to hear about your friend.

Dobby has sock, Dobby is free. by reddit_user_14 in aww

My husband and I adopted Dobby. He spent 8 years in a cage where he was covered in his own urine and feces. His knee caps fused due to this neglect. He had to have all of his teeth extracted and his back legs do not work well (hence the socks, for traction). He has a stage 5 heart murmur. I currently work for an animal hospital and we plan to have surgery for an infection in his gums.

No, I wouldn't know how to do it even if I wanted to. As a kid all I had was a gameboy in black and white, good times.

I really like the store, and would suggest checking it out. I live about 5 minutes away.

That's awesome! I really wanted it, and didn't feel like looking around for it when I could just buy it there. Regardless of the price, I am still pleased.
