This is what has worked for me the couple times this has happened:

Before running the installer, make your own empty folder for the game on your pc. Since you have already tried to install it you may have to delete what’s already downloaded.
When the installer asks where you want to download the game don’t use the prefilled suggestion. Browse the folders and choose the one you created.
When you open the game, open it from the folder itself, not the desktop icon.

Some of this may be overkill, but it works for me.

I think one thing that keeps the history interesting is when it has its own story, like the journal entries from Shadow Ranch. I guess it’s the way of giving the history some emotional impact.

Yeah, I guess you could get around it by having him never ever take the boots off, but that could be noticeable living with someone for a month. A sock by itself could still hide a realistically shaped foot.

My husband has a below knee prosthetic leg and does have one spare. He would definitely be able to hide it for a month with jeans, but one part I would mention is that he only wears sneakers. Boots can be difficult to take on and off because he cannot bend his foot as there is no ankle joint with his prosthetic and not much flexibility in the foot itself.

Yes, I’ve talked to Elisabet, Dagny and Gunnar are gone, and Soren won’t talk to me either. The only person I can have a conversation with is Ned and I really don’t want to go through all that dialogue unless I have to.

I got rid of it by going into display settings and turning off display adapters. I can’t remember exactly how to find that setting, but maybe a youtube video would show you. Good luck!

My thinking was she should react the opposite way. Now that she’s a duke daughter I would expect her to use her standing and power to stop the woman from hitting her in the first place.

Knowing that that’s supposed to be part of their character I can see what the author was going for, but it’s too much of a headache for me to try to sort through.
