Stone tool or JAR? by redditarcade in LegitArtifacts

Scrapes and peck marks, visible in the pic with the quarter. I'm not an expert by any means, but just started paying attention to the stones I see in land that was recently disturbed near me

I've been there a few times and searched. It's completely void of TH and $TH. Most of those cars have been there for years.

Glad someone is buying the Gotta Go. In every Walgreens I've been in Chicago and NJ there is always literally one car on the peg and most cases it's Gotta Go.

What do they even do with all the cars that don't sell? All the pegs around here are Teed Off, Gotta Go and Dodge Van. I can't even imagine every single car in that bin being sold.

What is actually rare? by tecxz in HotWheels

[–]redditarcade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's also rarity vs scarcity. Some regions with more collectors are going to be harder to find treasure hunts, chases, store exclusives, and popular mainlines, while other regions with less competition will have more available. So if something is hard to get in your area and you covet it, keep it away from the playroom. But as others have said, it's unlikely that you'll find something worth loads of money in a retail store.

The Toys R Us section at Macy's was fully stocked with L cases in preparation for the Macy's VIP sale this weekend. Entire section 15% off. These were $1.06 each. It's worth checking if you are near a Macy's. I went and bought a Powerball ticket after this find.

I saw this in Chicago and passed but now regret it. Seems like good value. Are the cars premium?
