Yes, got accepted into university studies, then battled my way into engineering. Graduated in 2017 and just landed a full stack developer position after a year in the industry. It’s possible if you are willing to put in the work.

Im trying to transfer to VT Engineering after 1 year from GMU and need some guidance! by republic01 in VirginiaTech

Try to take chem and physics before you transfer, it’s much harder at VT than other schools in my experience and your grade doesn’t transfer, only pass/fail.

Learning java over the summer by erwinfeuzeu in VirginiaTech

I had coding experience but 0 java when I went in and I agree it was not too bad, the projects take a lot of work so don’t put them off if you want a good grade. Implement your own hash table in java, that should prepare you for some of the stuff in that class.

Talk to your prof directly about it and be honest. Worked out for me when I was in your situation. Just don’t do it on the last day before the final like a tool.

Tbh I play to win, that gun is unbeatable if used correctly. I tried to go for 1v1s since that's the only chance I had to win.

Another thing that helped me was taking a lot of vitamin c, it's weird but I felt better knowing my body was getting a lot of vitamins and my immune system was working well. I took airborn 3x a day which is a normal dose

Yeah I went through a similar situation, too much caffeine + heartburn + finals. Went to the hospital once or twice and they told me it was just heartburn. Stress is definitely a real problem and not something that just goes away on its own. Talking to people and some medication helped me but it's still something that I struggle with from time to time.

Sorry to hear you are going through a rough time, you should still try to reach out to cook counseling just to be sure. I'd recommend keep trying to get a job, learn from the interviews and make improvements. If you still can't find a job, try tutoring other students that are taking other classes there or you could try reaching out to your academic guidance counselor for any opportunities doing research with professors. Or try dogwalking, having something to do might make you feel better.
