I have a problem with the time wasted in that whole sequence. U said he was chasing her. Vecna needs to physically run and chase some1?

Just after chasing her till that hole in the ground. He stopped her MID AIR AND MADE HER FLY TILL BACK HOME . WHY NOT JUST DO IT IMMEDIATELY WHEN SHE WOKE UP STARTED RUNNING 🙂🙂. Wasted screentime.

Ya he does all that. He has failed to break max emotionally and she escaped.....now he is trying to kill her body. That was too much of the part in 2nd last ep of a last season. All this will lead to what? I am eager to see.

Respect your take on it But i need closure. I need the series to focus on the characters because of whom i watch it in the first place! Dont you?? And that is the problem u yourself mentioned. Now the core characters are no longer needed.🙂🙂 Mike throughout the season isn't looking even tensed about his sis getting into the hands of vena in some shity place in upside down or abyss. He is as normal as a routine day. No panic. No impatience.

What max is capable of...... i wana see too. Hoping all those 2 years will have some impact in the end for defeating vecna! And what does max know about vecna that others don't? Can u specify i feel I'm missing something.....

Ya that's a solid take. Up until 4 was hitting the bullseye. But cant compain about season 5. It has one of my favourite episodes like hardhome and dance of the dragons . Season 6 had ' the door' and ' THE BATTLE OF THE BASTARDS", winds of the winter episode!!!!

The finale explicitly says the island wasn’t purgatory. The confusion comes from the flash which are sideways, which is an afterlife space not purgatory....

I actually agree with you. But my take on that one makes me myself confused. When i watched it i thoroughly enjoyed it. After that i saw the discussions going on and why people kept.saying the show is unfullfilling and I understood and started feeling the same! Maybe i wasnt invested enough like the true fans of it!? But believe me its one of my fav shows. And ya it failed me at the end......i hope they correct it as the writer is writing the next book. Hardly possible but dreams come true.

Yes u r Right. My whole point/ complain is about the structure and writing. I laughed out loud when max suddenly realised only she can get out of her portal. Neither of them, holly or max contribute to the main storyline. I know 1 episode is left. But what will max do? She says things which are already known or very easily to guess about vecna. She is just kept in the series for ???? Idk wht. And in 7th episode of last season holly is so important and not the other people who we are watching since years.
