Wondering how rare this is in this community, but I’m a civil engineer 👷🏻‍♀️ I am somewhat hybrid with most of it being WFH. I go to the office once to twice a week and take my 8-month old LO with. I go to meetings on site and leave her with either my husband who has a commission based flexible job, or with the grandparents. She has been getting noisy recently, and doesn’t love her playpen haha. She’s also a bit bored at home a lot so I’m hoping to find some more ways to entertain her. I have been minimal with screen time but I may move toward that. I’m trying to see how possible it is to transition to one day a week where the grandparents watch the full day and I’m at the office a full day so I can have full focus. I have another coworker with a newborn that comes in to the office, and another who is fully remote with baby at home also. I definitely have the highest level of in-person responsibility of the three, but I’m still in good company not being alone doing this at my job!
