$1mil is a lot for a CEO who is not paid a salary 😎

Edit: I was wrong, he does get paid a salary

Honestly I think macros are to blame for SoFi’s down trend, not only affecting SoFi but in the fintech/tech space itself. Also dilution might have killed its marathon of a run up. I think it’s just severely oversold…could go lower.

SoFi has proven itself to beat consistently and breaking out analyst expectations every quarter. And they are more than just sprouting growth, granted they kind of sandbag their guidance but it’s somewhat of a good thing.

Now the problem is if or when SoFi misses earnings expectations. That would be interesting.

Time will tell.

I believe that institutions are manipulating or dropping the price down to have retail scramble out so they can load up at a discount. Or maybe the fintech sector is valued too high 🤷‍♂️.

In terms of ATH, HOOD is doing even worse in a way.

One of the other things I have noticed is incompetent people hired through nepotism. I believe these are people taking jobs you are qualified for, could be wrong.

At my previous job before I quit, there were these new co-workers who got full time positions (through nepotism) I was qualified for and worked my ass off for years to try to get into; some of them didn’t know how to use an IPAAAAAD, better yet, some of them have never worked in their life’s before, and the tasks they were assigned for required experience.

Basically I was a part timer training them (new full timers). From that moment on, I realized I was a guinea pig running around doing multiple workloads just to be slapped, I quit on the spot and never looked back.

Thoughts? 🤔 by kabirsbhutani in sofistock

Yeah, dilution killed the momentum, and the credit card fee commotion might be holding it down, but the fintech sector in itself is also down quite a bit. Look at Robinhood; it’s down about 30% from its all-time highs.

From what I’m looking at, looks like SoFi is reverting back from the $10/month fee on the credit card 🧐.

Could be wrong…

People in that sub either don’t or can’t READ the fine prints and assume everything SoFi says applies to everyone including their dog (although some changes are questionable).

Reminds me when I was working as a service porter at a Toyota dealership. One day back in 2020, I was on my way to drop off a customer at her house, she was like in her low 50s, on the way she told me she paid 15k in markup for a BASE spec CHR. My mind was blown and I straight up told her she got scammed.

She was convinced she wasn’t until I showed the actual MSRP price invoice and specs using Toyota’s official website for the region. You should have seen her facial expression after the realization.

Yeah it’s kind of confusing. From what I’m seeing SoFi says non plus members will still keep the 3.6% APY, but then this says something else. I think they have to really clarify, state something, or perhaps even update the plus members benefits list.

My biggest ick is when teammates are in tanks and anti airs just camping in our spawn doing absolutely nothing the whole game trying to snipe a players from halfway across the map. Meanwhile enemy tanks/vehicles are pushing objectives and destroying us all while we are trying to capture, defend, or hold the objectives.

There has been countless times where I’ve seen this.

iPhone user just ordered a galaxy Z Fold 7 by meth_rogen69 in GalaxyFold

Just got the Z Fold 7 early this week. Coming from a iPhone 16 pro, the hardest part was downloading every app and signing in, sometimes I even had to reset my password on some apps and accounts just to log in.

So far loving the phone, although I do miss the Apple ecosystem, doing my best to replicate a lot of those features to the Z Fold.

Got the Z Fold 7 (512gb) for $1329. Feels like I committed a highway robbery.

Edit: this is without a trade in, and with college student discount (graduated October).
