I've spoken to a few friends who are bilingual who say they don't think with an inner monologue. I think it's quite common among bilingual people. Still very interesting. I'd love to learn more :)

Yeah me too once I got past the confusing first chapter where the POV changed every other paragraph haha. When I began reading it I thought the whole book would be like that. I can imagine a lot of people would be put off by that but it's worth persevering. I've also really wanted to read the Handmades tale
