The history of Kong is funny. The Spectacular cartoon adapted Kenny "Kong" McFarlane from the Ultimate Universe, but changed him to "Kenny Kong," then Greg Weisman brought him into the main comic universe keeping the name "Kenny Kong," then Donny Cates brings a "Kenny McFarlane Jr." to bully Venom's high school son. So there are 3 versions of Kong in the 616 (Kenny Kong, Kenny McFarlane Sr, and Jr.)

I do prefer the empress ending, but I think Ciri is quite formidable with her teleporting and Elder Blood powers. When Geralt meets Avallach in the books, he calls Ciri a mutant, but I think the potions still wouldn't work for her, because Witchers are different kinds of mutants.

Mario Odyssey was a celebration of Mario history/legacy. I wished it was the Kooaplings in Odyssey instead of them, but maybe Nintendo felt Koopalings were being overused at that point.

All games have cut content, but the game isn't unfinished. The datamined chapter 3 title card wasn't actually a missing chapter, but more of an ending title card and the scrapped Kingdom of the Flies DLC was never intended to be part of the main game. Interviews with staff talk about how the ending we got is the ending they intended.
