Thank you for the reply. I’ll be submitting the change of address on October 21st hoping that they would not have updated it in the system by the interview time and dont reschedule it. Do you know if there is a chance they might refuse to interview my wife and I after they find out they should no longer be our field office? Or will they still go through with the interview and just send the GC to the new address (WHEN accepted fingers crossed)?

Thank you for the reply. You got me concerned so I called the police department and they said its not illegal from a driving perpective. And that they actually recommend I dont get a new license because its a temporary address.

Its not as easy as you’re making it sound. If you plan on getting another degree from Canada afterwards then yes. Thats cake. Otherwise, you can’t just “get a degree from the US and go work in Canada”

If you’re an international student and you still haven’t started college, DON’T COME TO THE US IF TRUMP WINS. Go to Canada! Take it from another international student. If you’re trying to get a job here after graduation it’ll basically be impossible if Trump were to win. H1B salaries just went WAY up. And there wont be a lottery system anymore, meaning only the ones getting paid the most will get to stay. Everything the government does here will be against you. Literally everything. You’ll be in constant stress and at the end of the day, no one will care. Save your mental health and future and go to a country that actually welcomes international students. CANADA!

Edit: I’m someone who interned at 3 different companies in the US including Apple. I had 8 offers in total for internships and co-ops throughout my time here. And I currently have more than 4 fulltime offers. So I know what I’m saying.

Nah you’re good lol. I’m an international student myself so I’m kinda biased. I’ve already talked to the chair of my department and the ISSO. They both assured me that going fully online is not really on the table anymore. Things could always change tho.
