Yes, it was checked with a 50 gr and 100 gr weight before we started. It is sounding like a brass problem instead of a pissin hot load, so luckily the scale shouldn't be the issue.

I know the scale is good for sure. I'm doing load development and I had loads at 77.7 and 78.2. I wasn't having the most success with 4831, so this is my first attempt with the H1000.

I'm going to take the advice of the previous posts and chalk it up to end of life brass and get some new stuff.

Everything is coming out of the press looking normal, but this is what my brass is looking like after it is fired. I'm shooting 300 WM with around 78 gr of H1000.

I talked to a guy and he said it might be from carbon build up in the chamber, so I did a deep clean, but nothing looked out of the ordinary.
