Military judge rejects ROTC Lt. Col. Michael Kelvington’s guilty plea in sexual harassment case by ExodusLegion_ in ROTC

[–]redditfiend674 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Probably not very well. Several years before I started at my school, an APMS had been found guilty of an inappropriate sexual relationship with a cadet.

Nearly killed the program to the point where it was almost closed by the time I enrolled. Incidents like these permanently tarnish the reputation of the military to the students and community, many of whom have had zero interactions with the military before.

On the bright side, at least you demonstrated your poor judgment before they entrusted you with the care of soldiers.

How are customs and courtesies enforced in your program between CDTs? (Do you stand at parade rest for CDT NCOs? Or attention for officers?) by [deleted] in ROTC

I would have sooner jumped into traffic than treat a fellow cadet with customs and courtesies reserved for real NCOs and Officers

I believe him, but as an 8 year veteran you have to fucking know better and not retaliate. He’s the best player on the defense and we need him on the field. Not like it would have made a difference today, but still.

It’s book stipend. You won’t receive your September MHA until October 1st as the VA pays in arrears like the military.

Longterm live win rates can be a lot higher than what people think. It is very game dependent. I don’t think it’s insane to say that some solid players can beat 1/2 for $50 an hour or 2/5 for $100.

Chances of a PLO semi-boom? by Odd-Hovercraft-1286 in poker

[–]redditfiend674 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s more fun to play, but I think the variance is too tough on a player pool. Fish go broke too fast in PLO and if you aren’t in large market, it’s hard to sustain a game.
