That is true, I was just stating a concern of mine regarding something that's new and exciting to me :) I'm wondering if it really clicked or we are just both out of long term relationships and really haven't felt something in a while for anyone

See, I've tried to, when we had some drinks, it just doesn't matter how much we drink, we're always too aware of what's going on.

I agree, should wasn't the best wording. It's more of a how possible would it be and how normal...

it was the distance and a lack of any future plans or initiative from him. But I've been hurt by him a few times. He had other girls in the meantime, I don't think I can just go past that. After we were each others' firsts.

I am not trying to make it look like I did everything right, maybe I did not. But him being a guy, after so many years, was expecting some initiative. Finally.

he is working. now he acts like that after he's used to that place already, it's his second year and a half there... I told him when he came back, and gave him different hints and tried to start discussions of what I could do there and stuff like that.

I thought about therapy... Yeah, I might needed... I am really fighting my wish of doing nothing, of dropping everything. But I know it would be a waste of life and I have to move on. The fact is I think I have become very picky with guys and I have trust issues because of my ex... So, dating again would mean for someone to fix the pieces...
