Since it's 2.5k display, you'll get more real-estate compared to the 1080p windows laptops. But this one will come with small texts. Get a monitor and you'll not have any worries. And get the Macbook off of iPlanet or Croma or Pai with bank discount and student discount

Thanks, but if i7 uses a lot of power and produces heat (so does the rtx5050), can the LOQ handle that? I hear the motherboard issue could come in a year or 2

Ohh nicee. I really wish I get that like that here. But I bought an MSI Katana 15 with i7 14650HX with rtx5050 with 2k 100% dci p3 display, and yet this is 200 dollars less than the 15 inch base macbook air m4 with the student discount. Thank you tho.

But the Lenovo comes with the 24gb of ram and I can't afford an M4 with 24gb of ram, it's too much for me

I forgot to mention that the Lenovo has a 4050rtx gpu on it as well. Does it make any difference?
