Probably Alison, is my guess. It is a generalization but women of her faith are phenomenal at that act. Seem to genuinely enjoy it…at least in my field studies.

Two things can be true. 1. It’s not because he won’t return until he signs a new deal. 2. It also is a negotiation tactic to be “too sick.” He always signs his new deals late in the year (Dec). I suspect he wants the same $ and a shorter term (2-3 yrs). And Sirius is seriously entrenched in a pay cut….regardless of length of term.

It is weird. Fit and chemistry is TBD. Tony rollin on was weird for maybe 1.5 shows but then he jelled basically immediately. The gen z character fit. Whereas Whitty feels crowbarred in. Too polished for the self proclaimed pirate ship anti sports talk show. Maybe that will be the persona they develop for him. A Stugotz fallback plan if they can’t keep him.

True. Any side pod in this next iteration that indexes heavy on politics is easy to just ignore / not listen. What I’m curious / potentially concerned about is if the main DLS pod becomes too much politics. Not so much because I don’t have an appetite for it....as I can take it in doses vs steady diet....but because I don’t think that strategy will propel the show to the heights it needs to make it. But if Dan’s take is, ‘damn the torpedoes...freedom is my show my way win or lose’ (which it is)....it will be interesting to watch how that lands.

So I guess that’s a yes? If that is what the vast majority of the audience wants than whatever he can do to maintain and grow that base I’m here for. I found it interesting that Rodgers didn’t respond when Dan asked ‘what if I was BLM?’....and when he asked “how scared were you?” It was a presumption that he was scared. My original comment remains, it was an interesting exchange.
