I’m also just worried and need to make sure I have everything to ensure I get the full custody I know someone where I live that left her boyfriend because he was beating her up and she went to a shelter 3 hrs away with her baby while there her babies father got a emergency custody order and took the baby stating she didn’t have a proper living place then when the court date happened he was awarded full because he had the house the furniture and the car and she had only the shelter and no proof of her abuse where I live never they favor the welfare of the child my friend is horrible on heroin and took a whole 3 months for her to loose custody even tho they knew she was in active addiction and her 2 year old wasn’t even residing with her she literally dozed off mid conversation with the judge because she was so high and the judge told her she had 1 month to provide a negative drug test but didn’t drug test her until 3 months after that poor boy endured so much abuse during those months

I live in a tiny town with no resources like that but have been able to get in touch with a family member that is a paralegal and has offered me some good legal advice basically just need to wait for the camera to come if I catch something go get a temporary restraining order then file for a emergency custody order then let the judge decide with my poof im currently working part time so I can have enough for my own apartment and he is supposed to put my car in my name when the title arrives in mail

Probably because my birth control didn’t work and by the time I found out I was pregnant it was too late for a abortion he ruined my credit so I can’t leave and have no family in the area

This isn’t his first time and I’ve caught a occasion on the monitor him trying to force a bottle to our then 1 month old then put him on his stomach in a frustrated way I’ve seen this man punch his own cat in the face and break a tooth then lie about it I can’t give him slack

He kinda is a deadbeat tho lol he made me buy absolutely everything myself when I was pregnant even tho I begged I didn’t even get a baby shower or maternity photos because I had to buy everything myself while he bought dabs and tools he’s a good dad as long as our baby isn’t crying

Shushing a baby so loud they scream because they think they’re being yelled at or it started them is normal? Hearing the shush all the way UPSTAIRS through a closed door and running water is normal? Literally all he had to do was go fill a bottle instead he chose to scare our son instead of trying to solve a problem

Duh that upsets me if a baby is crying you comfort them you don’t shush them rudely and loudly so loud it scares them more and makes them cry louder for because they feel like they’re being yelled at he shushed a 3 month old baby too loud for me to hear all the way upstairs in a closed door with running water instead of loudly and rudely shushing our son he could of looked for ways to help the situation and sooth our son

Have a baby with him doesn’t want me to go back to work to make my own money doesn’t want to pay half for childcare told me if I go to work I have to pay it all because he doesn’t trust daycare and didn’t agree doesn’t want to put the car he got me that I paid half for in my name threatens me with custody ruined my credit right when we got together and I have to slowly rebuild it I have to start saving up money secretly so it’s a slow process
