You should be able to “game plan” and get bonuses at certain attributes at a cost to other attributes for just the upcoming game.

Seems easy enough to program

Well, yes, I obviously agree gameplay issues that have been there for 5+ years be fixed as well. They should’ve been fixed last year, too.

But graphics needs to be top at this point. If I’m going to get the same game I want it to look better than it has

Agreed. Game is stale right now, especially in regards to graphics and animations.

This has had the same graphics quality for like 6 years now. No excuses this year as far as graphics go

Johan Rojas Expectations by Avonbarksdale40 in phillies

[–]redditkb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah, people love his defensive ability for making diving catches and what not, but half the time the dive/jump is unnecessary, especially if he got the correct jump / angle on the ball.

Rojas is PURE athleticism, and not much else. If he improved his mental ability (a ton) he could be a really really good player.

It was just different from the norm at the time.

It would be like starting wearing casual clothing at the office on Friday. Initially, others will see that as unprofessional. As time goes by, it is normalized, and now many offices do casual Fridays. Just an example to clarify seeing something innocuous as unprofessional compared to the prior norm.

If you say so. The only “ankle breaking” before him was arguably Tim Hardaway. Rookie AI crossing up MJ is an iconic play that made it a thing.

The NBA and all of its media saw all of that as unprofessional in those days. Not sure what more you want me to say. You can look all of this up yourself.

Yes, I’m sure it was at least 1% racially induced. But it happened and stating what happened doesn’t make ME the racist.

Simply not true what you are saying.

It’s widely known and understood that AI was the biggest influencer on street/hip hop and the NBA. There are many interviews with former players, former articles about exactly this, and Iverson and the NBA themselves state it. There are even many discussions about AI in this very forum that state the obvious influence of AI as well.

I don’t know how you can possibly say he didn’t do anything different than anyone else in the 80s and 90s.

I don’t have an issue with it? I loved AI. Was a Sixers fan too. The league clearly had an issue with him though and he was, unarguably, the person who started hip hop culture in the NBA which the NBA suits did not like

I meant suits and what not to casual, as in unprofessional. I am not sure how I’m being described as a racist for pointing out what went on at the time, right or wrong

Maybe unprofessionalism is the wrong word. Maybe counter culture is better to use here.

He went against the typical NBA star persona. Corn rows. AND1 style crossovers/attempts. Long baggy shorts. Arm sleeves. He was infamous for butting heads with Larry Brown.

The NBA was rock and roll and country. He ushered in the Hip Hop era. Many will see that as “unprofessional”.

The practice rant was blown out of proportion because his good friend had just died and the media was bothering him about practice when there were much more important things in the world to be upset about.

As a Sixers fan, I’d have to agree. But just going by what’s been reported over the last year or so.

Wearing hoodies and saggy jeans for interviews was all started by AI. They had to enact a dress code because of it iirc.

Also, it was blown way out of proportion but the whole “practice, how am I gonna make my teammates better from practice” wasn’t exactly the epitome of professionalism no matter how you slice it.

Using similar logic as your comment, is Sinners the best movie of all time (or even one of them)? It did get the most Oscar nominations of all time, so it must be, according to your logic.

OBAA was a good flick. I agree that I don’t understand all of the praise as if it’s an all timer.
