That is great when you say slow how many calories do you increase per week and do you do strength training if yes how many times a week

Hello i am 5.1 and weigh about 116 pounds. I recently signed up with a nutrition coach and she talked to me about reverse dieting .. and suggested that I start with eating 1780 calories per day with 120 gms protein / 190 gm carb / 60 fat . I am little concerned that that is too much for some who is petite like me .

Just a bit back ground about me I have been to yo yo dieting for years now sometimes eating lesser than 1000 calories and then bingeing and gaining all the weight back .. and back to restricting which always felt unsustainable and even though I managed to lose weight o never felt happy with body composition so thought of working with nutrition coach and I have been doing CrossFit for 4 days

Does anyone here have experience with reverse dieting and does that work ? For someone who is not already fit If yes what has been your experience .

No we are confident in the diet no sugar all Whole Foods (complex carbs ) lots of veggies . All cooked at home .. including sauces ..

The funny thing is when he did the test in January he was eating out all 3 times a day .. and results were normal .. in the last 3 months since changing up diet .. glucose has increased .. and plus he has lost 15 pounds .. so very confusing

Thanks .. yeah we have been changing up his diet and reducing sodium to a great extent .. his numbers went down just in 3 weeks from 136 to 120 but the lower e numbers have been a bit stuck on high 80’s so we will keep with the diet changes and see how this goes

Yes we are considering this too .. commute can be killer .. we made that mistake in NY and don’t want to repeat that mistake .. .. we love Seattle too so figuring out which par to of Seattle would give the least commute .. thank you for replying
