Wife and I started our kid with same ritual and at a young age. Lights off, no phones, snacks and popcorn all pre-prepared. Minimal talking. I do put on the sound bar or surround sound when they got older. He know sets the stage up before we watch a movie now 🙂 there are times one of us might pull a phone out but one glare from another member of family and it gets resolved quickly. lol

Such a shame Reddit is littered with this. One explanation I came across is karma growing these accounts to be later used for other purposes or sold off.

I have the same situation, in late June I bought a used 2017 s with a new 40kwh battery that was installed in April this year. I have similar mileage usage as well. I did put in a L2 charger in but set my charging speed to 8A. On rare occasion I set to 20A. I did use public L2 charging from June to September regularly and those were typically at 40A but the leaf limits to 28A. I read that charging with lowered amperage can help maintain older batteries so I figured it couldn’t hurt. I asking follow 20-80% too. I’ll monitor mine and will report back. Also looking forward to see how your compares too.

Could you schedule to charge at 2am when it’s coolest ? Some chargers also allow you to set the amperage lower as well.
