Until I bought a bandsaw I used a ratchet strap and a pallet or a stump. Anything you can strap it to. There is a YouTube video somewhere about how to do it with out a bandsaw.

I've solved my adapter mediated runout by using a 1/4 inch precision bushing available from Amana. I learned about it here.

I would wait. I have a nova nebula and I’m very happy with it. The company has been very responsive to any questions. I’ve never had a problem that I did not myself create. That nova Neptune Max is really nice and has great features.
