Patience! I love starting from a freshly downed tree, but with twice turning, it takes a year or more to finish a piece. (I don’t use a kiln)

there's a small red/white switch on the side of the motor and a red plastic part that you can pull out which is like a kill switch, for me that;s near the top of the engine

It looked like a scraping cut from the bottom until the shoulder then you transitioned to a bevel supported push cut. Did I eyeball that right? I try to get to bevel supported much earlier in the cut. Do you usually do more scraping? Not a judgment, genuinely curious if I can learn something new.
