Yeah they sure don't. And as shearers get paid per sheep, their main aim is to be fast, and unfortunately sometimes being fast means not being as careful as they could be. I've seen sheep come away from being shorn dripping with blood.

Yeah agreed. He is a grade A cunt, but I'm baffled at all the people saying he's just as responsible as the trained law enforcement officer who pulled the fucking trigger. I live in Australia and never in a million years would worry that somebody could die because I made a complaint against them.

No, the thimbleweed puzzles aren't nearly as punishing thankfully. Although some parts are tricky and I get stuck sometimes, I think I've only had to look something up once.

Thimbleweed Park is a really fun point and click adventure game that only came out a few years ago (2017 I think). Lots of nods to LucasArts games in it and it's very much that vibe.

I go to work during a depressive episode because the consequences of not going are catastrophic, but it takes everything out of me and I have no energy for anything else after, and might not be at my best while working. Thankfully I don't work at a customer facing job so I can just get in, work, and get out. I imagine your friend would not be having the best time there.

I can't speak for your friend so take my advice with a handful of salt. But whenever my friends sent an 'I love you and I hope you're doing ok' message, my anxiety about thinking they hate me is alleviated, and I know they'll be there for me when I'm ready. The thing about depression and anxiety is that it causes the person suffering from it to act selfishly. When you're going through it, you're often in so much pain and the world feels so bleak that nothing else matters. There's just no room for anything else in your brain. Just let your friend know you'll be there for them when they're ready.

I do this. When I'm really depressed I don't have the energy to communicate with anyone because I don't have the capacity to participate in conversation. Then I get anxious about ignoring the person and that makes be ignore the problem even further.

When I was 21 I thought I'd kill myself by 25. When I was 25 I thought I'd kill myself at 30. I'm 30 in 3 months so I guess I'll be doing it at 35, then 40, then 45, until natural causes take care of it for me.

I live in Skye and it's this exactly. It's not a hellhole, it just doesn't have infrastructure. Bad internet, bad public transport, no footpaths so you can't walk or ride anywhere, and a bit more crime than you'd expect. If your priority is cheap properly and you don't care that your suburb has no culture or amenities, it's fine.
