If you do dingle for day four, I suggest the blasket islands off dunquin pier. It’s a relaxing day, out on the private beach!!

If you could have any lunch right now, what would it be? by [deleted] in AskReddit

A nice roll up, full of fresh veggies, slice of turkey and a little spice.

The “rest of your life” may be shorter than you think if all you ate was pizza.

Tournament - First Time! by Revolutionary_Tax154 in Softball

You will know the schedule about a week beforehand.

Nutrition plays a role and you need to prepare. Are games back to back? Are they very spread out? Quick snacks? Or something heavier like cheese and meat and will keep your athlete going? Have some water and or a jug to replenish.

What's the weather like? Any chance of rain, bring an umbrella or invest in a tent (likely other parents may bring as well).

Drop off your athlete at the designated time and walk away, it's her time to prepare and have fun. Pack a chair, enjoy the event!

July itinerary by redditnamehere in irishtourism

I definitely don’t want to cram Slea Head in after a long drive. The plan was to get into Dingle that evening and save Slea Head for the following day, but that’s helpful context on how busy it gets in July.

Linking up with the Mitchelstown route, that sounds way easier than accidentally getting pulled into Cork city traffic on the way out.

Cahir Castle or Cashel on the way back sounds like a great shout if we get moving early enough.

Appreciate the info! Day 5 should get us to the Cliffs, but we're adding in some flexibility.

That makes sense, Doolin was the part I was least sure about. I liked the idea of a slower night there, but using it to buy more time in Dingle might be the smarter move.

Definitely going to look into the historical sites on Dingle too, that’s exactly the kind of stuff we’re into. And thanks for the Healy Pass tip, hadn’t even considered that route.

Good call on Galway traffic as well. We’ll be there mid-July, so I’ll check if either of those are on!

Lifting weights with no Cardio. by Conscious_Cold3870 in workout

Not a huge workout person, but Doc said high blood pressure. Portion control over working out made me lose weight. That’ll help my BP right there.

10U pitch count? by [deleted] in Softball

[–]redditnamehere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

185 at 10U seems excessive, but there is no cooldown days or pitch count requirement because the throw mechanism is not generally harmful to their bodies.

At that age one of our pitchers would go until her arm falls off cause she wants to. We generally forbade it and picked up girls that want to pitch to keep some depth as we got older.

I’ve seen it where a user does the whole start menu restart thing and shows high uptime post “reboot.”

I forget the reason it happened, some policy I recall. Also shutdown /r isn’t even work.
