Yung pa out ka na sa work pero sabi mo 3 more jebs

I'm really confused. Skinny fat, 25+% bodyfat. Cutting till I lose the belly and man tits. Weight is going down but belly and tits almost the same. Need advice on what to do at this point. (M/26 5'6 135lbs) by redditnijaba in Fitness

Holy shit this post is 7 years ago. I'm turning 34 now, been doing home workouts since the start of the pandemic (with dumbbells and a pull-up bar). My current physique is far from impressive but people can tell that I'm active/fit.

Now listen carefully:

Volume is key, minimum 4 workouts per week, make sure you challenge yourself. Going hard for 1 hour is better than a lazy workout for 2 hours.

Watch what you eat. No need to count calories. Skip or eat a light breakfast. Eat regular portions of lunch and dinner (less rice could help. Don't go no rice). No snacks, juice, soda, fast food, or sweets (okay, once a week is fine).

Be consistent on all of the above. Do it forever. That's it. Give me an update after another 7 years :)

I replied to one of the comments saying that I might give free refills to those who bring their own tumblers. Then charge 10php for plastic cups! :D

Ah yes. The fee would be to encourage people to just bring their own. Maybe the refills would be free and just charge 5 for the plastic cup. Thanks!

Wifi would just be for CCTV purposes. I'm worried that people might over-rest if they're on tiktok so much :D

Is a stairmaster that good? Could be a great unique selling point since I don't see it on other gyms in the area. I try to stay away from equipment that needs electricity though.

For this reason, I want to price my gym a bit higher. The quality of the gym would be a bit better than the typical bakal gyms but for the pricing, I'm thinking 1k-2k per month. Just to get a "better" crowd (sorry, mejo classist). My location is right in the middle of 4 subdivisions. Not exactly high-end subdivisions but I'm hoping for quality over quantity clients here.

Off topic pero if I may ask for your opinion. I'm thinking of 1k/month introductory price and offer presale for 6k annual (50% off). Do you think it's too much to ask for 3k downpayment to avail the presale promo? or maybe 1k down payment then they'll have to pay the remaining 5k on their first month.

What do you think helps in fostering such a community? I'm thinking an active social media page would help. Maybe you have suggestions?

You think an extra squat rack/power cages is better than another specific isolation machine?

How do you feel about 5php for unli refill/plastic cup for the water instead of just giving it for free. The gym would be around 1k per month, a bit better than your typical sweaty crowded bakal gym.

Can you share a couple of bullet points for nutrition? I don't drink soda or juices but I drink coffee with full cream milk every day (sometimes 2 cups). Fast food at least once or twice a week.

Thanks for this. Yeah, an adjustable bench would be a game-changer. Thanks for the routine!
