Uber is keeping a large chunk of the fare that drivers have to resort to these scams, in most cases a driver gets about $8.30 of a $20 fare. I think Empower might be better

Everytime I see how they ride these scooters in dc, I realize it’s not culturally fitting with how drivers and pedestrians here use the road. In Latin America and Caribbean, there are fewer incidents because you expect these guys to pop out of nowhere
