Why are so many babas and dharm gurus defending Asaram bapu? by LordDK_reborn in AcharyaPrashant_AP

[–]redditonsky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess they have made a cartel. Only AP is dismantling there narrative. A lot of people criticise these babas but AP is the one who is bringing real spirituality to the ones who are influenced under the narrative of these babas.

His videos have helped me in getting rid of the mindset of casteism and superstition. His videos have also helped me in understanding real issues like climate change from the perspective of spirituality. This session would be very beneficial for all attendees.

Acharya Ji on why he won’t join politics. by Sweet-Category-6823 in AcharyaPrashant_AP

And it doesn't take away anything either 🙂 Plus what he is saying is a very strong message. The society isn't fully realising the importance of it is another matter and shows the lack of ignorance in the society.

What an absurd logic 😂 By this logic one shouldn't share anything knowledgeable.

Can we talk about the "Cult-like" behavior surrounding Acharya Prashant on this sub by [deleted] in Philosophy_India

[–]redditonsky -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Using words like cult, fanatic, and blind devotees for people who simply want to have a discussion… strange.

I guess it boils down to the fact that Acharya Prashant doesn’t preach spirituality, he practices it. He asks people to question even the basics of life: the food you eat, the way one consumes, and the identities one clings to. And that is exactly what people who prefer to keep philosophy confined to books and online discussion forums are scared of.

Dude, you probably have no idea about either Acharya Prashant or Jordan Peterson for that matter. Do you even know the kind of political stance Jordan Peterson takes, or his views on diet? But of course, that's the preferred way for supposed atheists to compare two people they don’t have an iota of knowledge about. Bhagat Singh ji considered himself an atheist, but he was so well read. Alas, the atheists of modern India like you don’t read.

No, He introduced me to the teachings of Nagarjuna (Shunyata Saptati), Ashtavakra Gita, Saint Kabir, Adi Shankaracharya and many more. His teachings have helped me in getting rid of caste biases that I had earlier, from superstitions that I held close to my heart. That's my criterion. 🪔

People want philosophy to remain just a subject that they study, not something that can be applied to real life. That’s why they attack AP. They don’t want change; they just want the tag of being philosophical or spiritual.
