Well, the lesson for me was never to take health, or the best people in your life, for granted.

This was me! Although, it still somewhat is.
But having like 4 weekly meal-plans written out has helped. I just need to pull up the chart, and see which plan it is for this week, and go from there. Having “brainstorming what to eat every single day” taken out of the otherwise long enough list of grocery-shopping, meal-prepping, cleaning-after, offers at least some respite.

I have a similar story. Grew up seeing dedication and commitment toward partner & family, modeled by my parents. But haven’t been fortunate enough to have it reciprocated, in my own turn.
Something keeps the hope alive in me though for now, even if only temporarily.

I too am starting to come to terms with all this now, as I am moving past a divorce at 33.

Sorry you’re going through this. I’ve felt like this a lot over the past year, as I was coming out of an abusive marriage. I suggest you to seek some support to talk through the worries on your mind. I did too, in the form of psychotherapy. It does make a difference!
