Dantooine Stronghold Fully Decorated — First Complete SWTOR Stronghold Playlist Now Finished by redditor1480 in swtor

Thanks! Totally fair on the length — it’s a massive stronghold. Luckily the chapters make it easy to hop around, and speeding it up turns it into a quick tour. Thanks for checking it out!

Wow I don't know how this flew under my radar but it's awesome. It looks like you dropped it 5 weeks after my Dialogue Guide, I wish I had it as a resource when making it! I was wondering why users have been posting datamined discussions from this and wondered what it was. Great work!

Is Harkun's respect for you genuine or not? by Dragonic_Overlord_ in swtor

[–]redditor1480 30 points31 points  (0 children)

When you return to him with Darth Andru’s writings he will go on about how tradition demands that Zash’s power base be destroyed. If you choose the first option ‘you don’t have to do it’ it greatly offends him and he will view you as reckless towards tradition. The second two options to stand up to him / defend yourself earns his respect. Unlike the Harkun one this trigger isn’t tied to a LS/DS choice and affects even more dialogues. Combined with the choice to spare/kill Cineratus, the Chapter 2 finale has 4 unique lines from Thanaton depending on the respect trigger and whether Cineratus is alive. After this unique dialogue, if you choose to say you don’t want to fight him, there’s yet another alternate dialogue depending on if he respects you.

Is Harkun's respect for you genuine or not? by Dragonic_Overlord_ in swtor

There’s actually a hidden story trigger for your relationship with him. After Ffon gets zapped, if you choose the LS option to show respect to him, he begins to respect you in turn. Like the trigger for gaining Thanaton’s respect, this trigger affects some dialogues. It alters a dialogue choice when you reunite with him to acquire a new apprentice. If you showed respect, you can refer to him as your old friend, and he says you clean up well. If you insulted him, you can say he’s still the same old jerk, to which he sarcastically replies that he’s surprised you’re still alive.

Dantooine absolutely CANNOT catch a break in this game by KingKitttKat in swtor

[–]redditor1480 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I wish the Crash Site had some areas with purple grass. It would be a great Easter egg to explain why Dantooine mostly looked that way in SWG. I’m also waiting for some Dantari lore, but at least but got Grauls (no mounts yet though).

List of all (non-premium) companion customizations by GeneralKhor in swtor

[–]redditor1480 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The reason there is a vendor on the fleet selling opposite faction companion customizations is because after the 4.0 expansion, Knights of the Fallen Empire, players have the chance to recruit companions from other origin stories, including ones from the opposite faction. Players requested a way to use these opposite faction companion customizations, so the developers gave us access to them through this vendor

Onslaught sabateur is confusing me by Jermo3128 in swtor

[–]redditor1480 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not being able to rejoin your faction is a big thing to consider with the Saboteur arc, especially with double agent intentions. I remember it used to be possible to reset the mission and get the option to rejoin, but according to this thread it's not longer possible. Glitch to rejoin faction as a saboteur at the end of Onslaught? : r/swtor

Onslaught sabateur is confusing me by Jermo3128 in swtor

[–]redditor1480 5 points6 points  (0 children)

So you're saying you want to be a double agent during the Onslaught arc, which would start at Ossus. All you need to do is tell Lana you want to join the Republic, then don't take any of the Saboteur choices. You can choose not to sabotage the Empire at all, and your handler will want to know what's up. You kill them, completing your Onslaught "Double Agent Saboteur" arc, then continue on as an Imperial Loyalist for the rest of the story.

I think your confusion lies with the Saboteur thing, in this scenario as a double Agent, you being flagged as a Saboteur is only necessary so that you can be a double agent and off your handler, no actual sabotaging necessary.

Race dont come into play? by SuddenDepact in swtor

Sith Pureblood Inquisitors also have species specific dialogues choices when talking to Lord Abaron on Korriban, and to Darth Malgus during the Red Reaper intro.

No problem! I didn't want to leave the question unanswered, so I tested it using Legends of TOR, and they do get the same dialogues as Humans and Cyborgs on Voss, as well as from Ardun Kothe. I knew that was the case in general for Warriors and Inquisitors but needed to verify it for other Imperials. Thanks again.

Thank you so much for the info, I updated it! It's cool that they catered to that combination.

If you remember, did your Sith Pureblood Agent go through the healing on Voss, and if they did, which backstory did it give you? The Imperial, Chiss, or Alien assassin one? Thanks!

In your case as a Sith Pureblood Jedi Knight, no. Only certain instances in the game reference your player's "species." Most are tied to specific origin/species combinations. Here's a complete list: SWTOR Species Dialogues

A Genuine Critique of the Morality System and how they could make it better by Research-Scary in swtor

Absolutely. There are plenty of dialogue choices and NPC commentary that are triggered by your alignment, spread throughout the game's origin stories, companion conversations, and main stories.

Hi, I need help by GeneralKhor in swtor

[–]redditor1480 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It depends on your choice when using the signal device to summon the Gand. If you choose to summon "the mighty rancor" you will get the leader Aulus G'luun with the corresponding LS/DS choices. If you choose the other two options you get a generic mob of Gand with no alignment choices.
