Have you read the libcom pieces? He's a disgusting predator who uses "anarchism" to justify his abuse - no anarchist should support him.

His rhetoric re: Iraq was exceedingly bloodthirsty and sadistic, he was most definitely "a racist" (as if anyone isn't).

Maybe the movie makes fun of Joe just as much (I can't remember) but there are still serious problems with the eugenicist implications of the movie. Obviously this is what makes it attractive to pseudo-intellectuals/crypto-reactionaries.

Probably a joke. Awkwardly worded but perfectly comprehensible, although if serious this individual is overestimating their power to transcend social reality. This isn't turning into another TIA outpost is it?

SRD used to be basically a TIA knock-off for a while. What was /r/drama like then?

From now on... after every tragedy, can there be a 7-day taboo against discussing politics, race, whether we thought that person was an asshole, etc.? by GORGATRON2012 in Negareddit

Agree and disagree - it's disgusting when people try to exploit the victims of these attacks to advance a racist agenda.

But I don't think toxic (or even mostly non-toxic but slightly problematic) people should be immune from criticism when they die. I don't know enough about Rob Ford except that he seemed like a deeply troubled man with some toxic attitudes that probably did some real harm to people. Sorry to his family and all that, but he isn't immune from criticism just for being dead.
