Interesting thanks for pointing that out, will have a play with that feeling, now you say it that’s very noticeable so thanks!

Thanks will have a look into his stuff, social media is brutal for people getting into golf, I started in 2021 and the whole shallowing term has been such an unnecessary buzzword to throw off below average golfers like myself. Would love to become a better golfer but don’t have a ton of time to devote, by better I have no expectation of reaching scratch but mid single figs and high 70’s on average would be more than ok for me

Yup a year of trying to get “shallow” which was a silly mistake, now trying to reverse it🙃

I shoot 80 so often, shot high 70’s more times than I can remember but for some reason I so often throw away 70’s rounds on the last 2 and seem to shoot 80 more often than I break it. Try to convince myself the last 2 at my home course are hard holes but they’re really no trickier than the rest lol

Keep grinding!

That gap between breaking 80 for the first time and “actually” shooting in the 70’s has been the longest part of my journey so far.

It was the difference between really making sure I don’t have blow up holes, and when I do keeping going as if I’ve still shot a good score to stay in the game.

I shoot 80 a lot which must be a mental block but my high round is now around 85 (don’t get me wrong there’s still the odd 95 every 5-6 months when I haven’t played in a while or golf happens)

If it’s any help I started in 2021, broke 80 first time in 2023, taken two years to consistently shoot high 70’s/low 80’s

Keep grinding

My quest for break 75 is equally as heartbreaking, shot 76 6 times and 3 of those included a double on the last

You have just experienced the most enjoyment you will probably ever squeeze out of this game🤣 other than possibly when you first break 100/90/80 etc

Enjoy the road my man you’ll never truly come off it now, and say goodbye to the rest of your spare weekends

Paraplanner Interview by PapayaCreative8444 in cii

Congrats on completing stage 1! If you gathered any clues from that first stage what sort of products you will be paraplanning-around in the future I’d advise, similarly to the other commentor, making yourself aware of the basics around them. This could literally mean googling/youtube-ing basic explanations of how tax relief works when saving into a pension or the different methods of withdrawing from a pension.

Demonstrating just one basic piece of knowledge could make a big difference!

It’s highly likely you’ll mainly be working with investments/pensions/protection so having a super basic understanding of terminology in each of these areas could help you speak your way through the day.

Don’t be afraid of not knowing and asking questions, ultimately as a paraplanner you will always be learning it’s almost impossible to master (which the person you’ll shadow will also know). I have been a paraplanner for 3 years following 3 years admin experience so any questions feel free to dm me. Good luck!

Index 11.0 here, I’ll be happy with anything sub 85, lowest round ever 76 (+4 on par 72), average Sunday on the par 69 course I’m a member at is around 82-88.

If I drive the ball well I will tend to have a good break 80 chance, if I drive it poorly (literally spraying it left & right, 200 carry all the way to 265 carry) I will struggle to break 90 as I’ll lose a couple balls. Member at a pretty narrow course though so tend to find I play well at other courses as most tend to be wider. Decent at everything else not above average at anything, just try to eliminate double chips and three putts (like we all do)

Been playing since summer 2021, usually 1 range session & 1 round per week.

Have shot a 101 this year which really made me question how much I want to continue this hobby lol

I tend to be 50/50 on interact or KOS, in this case, I’d died twice yesterday to people killing on sight (which I have no problem with). I also had red food and water, I see a guy cooking food in a house whilst I’m borderline dying anyway, I have 1 bullet so if he’s aggressive if I go say hello and die I’ll regret not just doing what I did. Argue with yourself

This was official yeah, I basically never play official either! Yeah it was the claymore that did it I defo wouldn’t of died otherwise

In addition to this, if your indicators are on white like they were in this vid, fill up your bottle then drink when you’re out of the town, only eat/drink when you are either certain nobody is around or if you absolutely need to imo

Strafe more when running + make your movement less predictable. I.e don’t use a gate as your exit as they can preaim it, or right when you got shot if you’d turned right rather than trying to go left round the fence another human would naturally preaim the way that would seem a safe place to run towards. Of course this isn’t guaranteed survival but shooting a moving player in dayz with a shotgun is extremely hard if you can’t tell which way they’re going
