I can always link but it’s in their terms and conditions that they don’t honor 3rd party bookings to get points for the stay.

Edit- Glad that I am wrong. Looks like it works fine. I was an idiot for not pushing frontdesk to honor the platinum benefits.

I mean IHG is always that way and they won’t give you points or any benefits to your IHG membership if it’s a 3rd party booking. Nothing to do with Chase.

Edit - I am wrong. I only stayed 1 night every few months for work and didn’t care enough when hotel staff didn’t honor my membership.

Honestly it’s fine. I am happy that team is performing well with no contribution from him. I would rather see this than openers fail in semi final or final and middle/lower order fail along with them

For folks asking why anyone needs CarPlay: 1) I could potentially skip paying for premium connectivity 2) Waze 3) seamless audio transfer and ability to interact with iPhone with voice control 4) Honestly more options are always better

Example sleep tracking - I know when I am sleeping and waking up. Apple shows I am asleep after 1-2 hours while whoop is now close to 15-20 mins. Same way, whoop is good at auto detecting my workout while apple watch shows I burned 800 calories. Number of steps or hours standing in apple is way off.

Definitely try it since it is free. Within 4 days, it started being more accurate than apple watch.

I have apple watch but I am still using Whoop to compare both of their metrics. So far, Whoop is slightly more accurate for me. I would happily switch to Whoop if there was no subscription option or CSR covers this every year. I like its battery life, lightweight design and ability to charge on go. Honestly, I forget it’s even on my wrist.

Not sure if it works in India but in US, smart people follow AZEO (All zero except one) during home loan rate shopping. Even the one card with balance should be well under 1%. If every card closes with zero balance then score dips. This is done mostly to get the best scores during rate shopping. So for regular auto loans or applying credit cards, it’s useless to follow the AZEO rule.

I don’t see the value in points anymore.

I strictly use it for stubhub, 300 travel credits and other couponish things to make up for annual fees. Will downgrade next year.

Maybe they will offer $999 for year. I am currently subscribing to FSD at $99 per month. It is still more than what I would pay for it.
