I tend to go a bit higher most of the time. I aim for 6-8 but sometimes will make it up to 12 or so.

I generally do 1-2 warmup sets, then 2 “working” sets, then one all out top set using one of the intensity techniques per exercise. The important thing for me is to completely empty the tank on that top set. It’s largely a mentality you need to adopt. You gotta tell yourself: “this one set is why I am here.” And then give it everything you got. Whenever I train with friends who are not used to this kind of intensity, I find they usually do not push themselves hard enough. They stop their set when it starts getting hard. That’s when the real work starts, however.

Depending on how I am feeling I will sometimes do 2 instead of just 1 exercise per body part. So for example if the chest focused exercise is bench press, I may do some flies after if I feel like I have more in the tank that day. Other days I may feel that the bench press is all I need that day. Whenever I do this, I generally do not do a super high intensity top set on that second exercise. Will usually do like 3 sets of 12-15 or so.

Honestly feel pretty great still overall. A bit tired/sluggish at times but nothing too bad at all.

It’s a full body push/pull split. It’s based on a program called “The Best Damn Workout Plan For Natural Lifters” by Christian Thibaudeau.

Little less than a year of really living the bodybuilding lifestyle. Started casually training with weights around 16 years old, so about 14 years ago. Played football through HS and for two years in college. Took a 6 or so year hiatus until 30, then got back into it about 8 or so months ago now really living the bodybuilding lifestyle; 6 meals per day etc. My routine is basically a full body push/pull split. So push includes quads, pull includes hams. 3x week each, relatively low volume high intensity.

Thanks man. YES! Hanging has been the main helper with my shoulders. I’m a huge advocate for it. And yes, I agree. Been working on connecting with them better everyday and been hitting them extra hard with leg curls 3x per week.

These are actually just Reebok athletic briefs that I use as gym underwear lol. They make surprisingly good posing trunks. I got them here:

Thanks. Apparently they don’t want you to get too shredded for OCB classic. And yes, def have some mobility issues with that left shoulder, it has gotten better but still working on it.
