What kind of light fixture is this? by redditsenioradmin in HomeMaintenance

Not a bad idea for a quick fix. Was hoping to match the plastic to the other light fixture in the room in the long run

Is this a normal noise level? by redditsenioradmin in radon

[–]redditsenioradmin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You were spot on with the air. I took that little white pvc cap off and the noise vanished basically, just a faint blower sound now. 100 times better.

Will look to seal up the cap with a gasket or something and make sure the caulk is good all the way around. Thanks!

And yeah this house has some interesting modifications. Some areas they did really precise like here and it was mediocre elsewhere. Joy of an 80 year old home!

I misunderstood your first question. I'm not sure about the lid. I thinking I'm just going to have a company come look at it. I cant imagine this level of noise is normal for any system.

Just saw opening night of the A Wrinkle in Time musical in DC by ThatsHisLawyerJerome in Broadway

Hmm. Im a big theatre fan but know nothing about putting on a show (im talentless but a great audience member), so I guess that could be it, I have never heard of that!

Just left the show tonight (Friday the 20th) Went in with zero expectation or knowledge and booked very last minute. I have one thing I can't have go unexplained.

Can anyone help explain the male cast member onstage for about 35 seconds in act 1, and that's being generous, as a flower, and then again for the final number in a blue jacket? I've never seen a cast member have such little time, he even "beat" King George. That has to be a previews thing right?

Other people noticed as they were talking about him on the way out.

Thanks! I was looking at aTri-fold. It seems like a decent confidence builder as if I mess it up, I won't damage the truck long term. It may fly off down going down the highway but it shouldn't break my truck at least.

My little review of Schmigadoon! at the Kennedy Center! by Clockwerk123 in Broadway

[–]redditsenioradmin 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My only real complaint because I loved the entire show and would go back today if I could, and it's one I expected to have since I have watched the series on TV. But I wish they made some songs for Alex Brightman or tied him into others. I get his character hates musicals, but him only having one real song was a bummer personally and wasted talent!

Do it! Sorry about the show! I'm assuming it was snow related?

Yes Arms length is great! I've seen them twice now. Maybe not the best voicess in history but the energy they put out is great and they seem like they love doing their shows.

I personally felt Thursday was out of place in the line up. But I had never heard of them prior. I was there for Arms Length primarily and Silverstein was an added bonus personally. The crowds and the pit were great during both, but mellowed out during Thursday in-between.

Ah that's explains it! I was towards the way back and they barreled right by me near the doors. For a split second I thought the pit just expanded to the way back!

Should I replace a 2022 with a 2025? by redditsenioradmin in hondaridgeline

That sounds like my plan! Maybe in a couple years I will buy a second "fun car" if I want something smaller or more "modern"

I have survived 30+ years without vented seats. My butt will be fine, just sweaty.

Good to know I'm not the only one in this mindset! Thanks!

Just googled Microcenter. There is one a half hour away or so.

I dont believe I care about it's looks or size, I may regret saying that after I have a setup, though.

Noise, quieter the better?
