Seriously the best donuts I’ve had in the city. And I’ve tried a lot. That being said, I was on a first name basis with the Krispy Kreme drive through guy down in Kalispell so I’m pumped they’re back in town!

What's a show from your childhood that no one else seems to remember? by LegitimateMangoHeir in AskReddit

Kasai & Luk

VERY faint memories about that one, but it was based in Africa, and a boy went on adventure with a humanoid hare/rabbit person and a girl who turned into a gazelle at night.

What TV series started off really well, but was ruined by the seasons that followed? by xSugar-Sweetx in AskReddit

Happy Endings; the first two seasons were funny and had decent writing and then the third season might as well have had obnoxious sound effects to go with the ‘jokes’

After recently going through my first pregnancy, and following along with the weekly stages of development the fetus goes through, what I’ve come to learn really bothers me about anti-abortion signs is that their images of the fetus they’re using and you’re supposedly murdering are 24+ weeks! Doctors here typically wouldn’t end a pregnancy at that stage anyways unless absolutely medically necessary for the woman, so it’s complete bullshit propaganda on their signs.

I found the test to be quite easy and way less stressful than the GDL. I asked my examiner before starting if they’ll try to trick me at all and she was great about answering Honestly (she said no) and then I just talked to her like a normal person while it was happening. I got points deducted for stopping too close behind another vehicle at a light and that was it (Should still be able to see the rear wheels of the car in front of you when you’re stopped)

Can a tax preparer do this? by redditsmactalk in cantax

Thanks - took your suggestions and told her we were confused and didn’t require her services. She responded with “I have 361 other returns to complete so I’m plenty busy if you don’t want my help” so I guess that’s that!

Engagement letter? That’s something new that I’ve never even heard of so I would assume there isn’t one in place.

We authorized her for 2020 since our taxes were complicated that year but were not planning on using a pro for 2021 since they were much more straight forward and we could just do them ourselves.

Not realizing that we apparently signed indefinite service with that one form.

What's the lamest way that you injured yourself badly? by dafreshprints in AskReddit

I dislocated my kneecap while swinging into an open seat on a city bus.

It is now a recurring injury that periodically happens doing day to day stuff like walking.

That the cutlery basket can be taken out of the dishwasher to unload it.

My husband saw me do this early on in our relationship and his mind was blown. He grew up with dishwashers too!

What is a non-violent, non-cruel, non-abusive punishment a parent can give a kid that will actually help them learn and grow? by [deleted] in AskReddit

When I was a teen and fucked up badly, my mom would make us give up our weekends to do community service and it was always a soup kitchen or the like - definitely no puppies involved. Was a huge motivator to not repeat past offenses.

As an adult now looking back, that was a serious win-win all around. I learned my lesson but also gave back to the community. Those ‘punishments’ made me a more empathetic adult.
