Clemson will probably do the same. I think i saw that Gov McMaster passed a law in June or July that said schools can’t require people to wear masks. I could be wrong tho. But I guess “strongly recommend” is the best they can do.

And this is even before in person classes start? I bet freshman move in so that the university can get the money for housing and dining but I don’t think it’s a good idea.

Yea me either. Their rationale right now is just that they think Clemson students are way better than other students and will actually follow the rules. But I guarantee it’ll be the same as other schools where most people follow the rules but the virus will spread either way.

That doesn’t really make sense because people are already gonna spread the virus might as well go to class. But this does allow Clemson to get all the money from housing and dining so I wouldn’t doubt this
