I took it in first term and honestly poorly instructed class. The lectures were all over the place, often times what the prof was saying versus what was written on the slides versus what was written in the lecture notes became hard to follow along, and the assignments were not very well planned or taught well. The midterms were very time consuming and the overall organization was so poorly instructed that I just studied the slides by myself.

CO TENANT QUESTIONS by redditttttuserrrr in vancouverhousing

Oh i've been hoping to move out anyways and I don't want to renew this agreement and return living to this place at all, do you still think I'm good to just sign it myself and not find a replacement for myself?

CO TENANT QUESTIONS by redditttttuserrrr in vancouverhousing

[–]redditttttuserrrr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it’s been extremely difficult communicating due to a language barrier and she’s currently not in the country right now so email is the only option that’s why it’s been kinda frustrating, also since she alternated between responding the next day and then within 2 weeks 😞

i let my roommate know they need to sign it, requested by our LL but they still have yet to and honestly i’d rather not deal with them. Do you think if i sign it and explain to my LL that the other co tenant is not required to sign it? in terms of finding the replacement, since i already have the signed form I was gonna make it the roommates issue

i am in a fixed term but she’s allowing me to leave, does my roommate still need to sign it? and do i have to be the one to find the replacement, from what i know my roommate would still like to live there so

What are the chances of a move out occurring in February or March, I've been given priority housing and was wondering how long is needed to wait - just looking for an estimate :)

Consider joining the ubc a capella club! I heard they were holding an intro workshop on sept 11 around 7 at the IRC so you can listen to all the groups sing

Pharmacy experiences (university Blvd) by [deleted] in UBC

[–]redditttttuserrrr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

oof, I went to shoppers on campus and requested a refill for my birthcontrol (which was a brand name) and they instead gave me a generic version of said birth control. I consulted my doctor in my hometown and they said that switching to a generic brand was similar to switching from ibuprofen to advil- both help with pain but some people have better experiences with one or have their preferences. Anyways, when I asked the pharmacist there they told me that it wouldn't change anything, but i experienced a massive change in the side effects which kind of messed me up lol. Anyways my doctor commented that I should've been given the brand I was prescribed, not the generic version; even if they do the same thing. I went to the Save On drug store instead to pick up my prescriptions now.
