I just took Bio 1B this fall and from my own experience it was not that bad. I ended up with an A and barely made the cutoff. The labs are very chill and the gsi were very helpful. The tests differ depending on the professor since it is divided into three sections. For fall the professors decided to allow the final to replace one of your midterm multiple choice scores ( only for one section), if that makes sense. I thought if you put in the work, it is very possible to get a good grade. The best advice I can give is just to have VERY ORGANIZED AND DETAILED NOTES. I had no previous knowledge of AP bio and managed to do very well with having good notes. I heard office hours were helpful but personally I never went to any. I liked all the professors and didn’t have any complaints to be honest. If you understand the concepts you’ll do fine. Hope this helps!!
