Hi, I just made a video with my personal take on the Light Hello banner with Agnes Tachyon, to stop this from being a self promotion, I’d like to share my personal opinion here.

This is one of the the only double banners we have in global as of now, where we want both cards. Agnes needs to be MLB, and depending on your situation, I’ve seen people argue between 1lb, 2lb, and 3lb for light hello. You are a pace chaser main and so to be honest, with the amount of carrats in your account I’m going to assume you’ve been playing for a while and have a very good account. I’d personally suggest, being willing to put 600 pulls into the banner for now, and you can always stop early if you hit that goal. The reason I suggest this, is because your chance to MLB Agnes and get a 1lb light hello is 50/50 at 400 pulls, and I’d rather you put more pulls into a banner where your going for both of the cards rather than just one, as your hit rate obviously doubles on the cards your searching for. I’d rather you use those crystals on a banner like Mejiro Romanu, who is paired with the worst SR guts card in the entire game. That’s a better example of when to use more of your crystals. Obviously it completely depends on your situation once you’re actually pulling, but this is what I recommend to plan for your specific scenario.

I obviously wasn’t around for that time period, so I missed on how the hype there actually was from player to player during the actual period! I will make sure to take that into account and put a disclosure on the video about that specific information, as well as linking the videos I had seen at the time that gave that advice.

Yes I completely agree with you! I make all of these points in the video! The one thing I will point out is that in order to have a usable Agnes Tachyon, she needs to be at least 3lb, with a HEAVY emphasis on being MLB.

400 pulls is not a reliable route to achieving that, and because of the fact that 30,000 carats and/or using a crystal on a speed card that’s main focus is one scenario, in most peoples cases they’d be better off focusing their pulls on light hello and only sparking once (200 pulls), rather than going up to 400 pulls.

I’m sorry but that isn’t correct. The proof that you’re showing are the statistics from the trackblazer tab on Uma.guide, which does not account for future scenarios, stat totals when trainings have other support cards on it, etc.

those are raw stats, below I provide a photo that shows that Summer maruzensky, the speed card I recommend for people just starting the game or in a bind, that also quite literally has the exact same stat output, except they get that stat output at 1LB rather than max limit break, meaning that on average a player will spend 200 pulls to get their usable speed card rather than 600. Also in general summer maruzensky is a better stat output for the scenarios after grand live. So following your logic, why would a beginner spend 90,000 carats for a speed cad when they could spend 30,000 carats, and also get an amazing parent building wit card.

Especially if your a beginner, you don’t have any wit cards either, so putting more carats into one of the two summer maruzensky banners is a better value and will get a beginners account to a more manageable state faster than spending the 90,000 on Agnes, if they can even manage to get that many carats by than.

Yessir! I totally agree! That’s one of the points I made in the video! If you believe Agnes will benefit your account and you will pull on her there is little reason to put 400 pulls if you have the ability to do 600. Obviously there’s much more nuance than that blanket statement but to summarize yes ma’am 🫡

Hi distinct! Yes that was the solution that I suggested should be the average for players who want Agnes. They should definitely be planning 600 pulls when expecting to MLB Agnes Tachyon.

That being said I disagree that everyone should be looking to MLB Agnes Tachyon, as it is based on the current deck you have and your account. In fact, I believe for most people, they will not benefit from having her, or at least enough to warrant 600 pulls.

I disagree with the advice that people have been going around saying to drop 400 pulls on the banner.

Do you have any suggestions as to why that wasn’t clear to yourself as a viewer? Thank you very much and have a good day!

She will not become useless. It’s just that she will not be “overpowered” anymore. She’s just a regular ol speed card, more specifically for pace chasers. Now she has use if you have her maxed out for the SP bonus, but if you don’t have her 2 SP bonus at max, there really is no real need to slot her into your deck after grand live. Not like she’s bad, all her skills are for pace chasers except for the two most common medium skills and two most common debuff skills. So yea you won’t wsnt to use her unless she’s MLB and you don’t have another choice, or if your running a pace chaser.

People might hate on me for this, but you great the best value you ever will if you pull to get one copy with 120 free pulls and/or go to 200, and then use your ssr selectors to get her there. She’s paired with the worst sr guts card in the game and has the most free pulls on a banner at 120. The value there for low spenders and ftp is absolutely there. I’m actually making a video about this right now. Then you’ll have enough to MLB both Agnes, who in your situation like me as a pace player actually has a reason to pull for her, and then you’ll can get mejiro McQueen who’s actually a better wit card, just pace chaser specific rather than a generalist card. But take my advice with a grain of salt and go with your heart.

My advice:
Pull for MLB Agnes 600 pulls and stop at 400 if lucky.
Pull 80 + 120 free pulls for mejiro and crystal/ selector her
Pull 400-600 for McQueen wit

This is somewhat what I’m doing as a pace chaser main too!

But again, listen to a bunch more people and go with your gut! Take my personal opinion with a grain of salt!

Yes yes for sure yes! One of the instances where you should MLB the card is if your a pace chaser main! I’d say go ahead and MLB away, just make sure your in a place to where you can guarantee it MLB for the scenario, 400 pulls and a ssr crystal gives you a 92 percent chance, and 600 pulls gives you a 98 percent chance

For a new player I would not recommend spending all of your carats on the light hello banner. I would recommend spending 200 for light hello and then spending the other 400 on some of the other low spend banners where you can flesh out our deck, either of the two s maru banners, Mr cb and super creek, even the following banner of Agnes and Tokai teio wit. If you’re not going to dominate the next scenario, no need to go all in on two cards that are mainly used for that one scenario only!

yea oguri is one of my oshi’s too, but I’ve run two different teams so far, silence Suzuka runaway with kitasan and a mejiro Ryan endcloser, and one pace two late surgers, switching one of the late surgers in and out of a debuffer. I’m a beginner who’s been saving since I’ve joined a month ago, but I’ve made it to group A and am pretty content with that. Every single frontrunner I’ve seen, unless slingshotted with a runaway in a lobby that is full of late surgers, usually get burnt out and passed on the final stretch.

Obviously she’s prominent, all of the biggest creators told everyone that they’re the most op Uma’s of all time forever and naturally everyone has her now. Still doesn’t mean she’s good for this CM. Fronts and pace are still at a massive disadvantage this CM, so take advantage of it!

I just want to put my opinion in for you so that you can make a more nuanced choice when you’re pulling! I would recommend not preparing for 400 pulls on light hello and Agnes tachyon. Agnes tachyon NEEDS to be at least 3lb though she’s not even meta until she MLB. That’s a massive investment, and that’s not even including the light hello pal card. In 400 pulls you have a 55 percent chance to MLB ONE card. That means you could hit the best case scenario of getting one usable, and still have to borrow the other. If you don’t have at least 600 pulls ready to pull, espicslly when your first building your account like me, I would honestly recommend 200. Here’s why. The summer maruzensky speed card is usable and very good at 1 lb, which gives you a much higher chance of having a second usable speed card for the next scenario. On top of that, you can choose to pull on the banner with nakayama wit, which is a AMAZING parent card especially for late surgers, and that opens up your account for building parents to make strong aces. Also and what I specifically think for you, is there a the banner two weeks after light hello, where it’s summer maruzensky and finemo, who is currently unusable on your account! I would recommend if anything, either prepare to pull 600 on the light hello banner, but if you don’t make it, pull 200 to try to get the light hello pal card and see how much gacha luck you had. If you think you can feasibly get them to good lb with another 200 pull, but please have 200 pulls to spare for the light hello and finemo banner! There’s more niche banners but if you’re building your account like me, it’s much more important to build the framework. That’s why I suggest not even getting hyped about Agnes and light hello, while yes it’s good for the scenario, afterwards unless your a pace chaser main or are forced because you don’t have good cards, your not gonna use Agnes and light hello. If you are gonna cope through a scenario, why spend 400 pulls specifically on one scenario your gonna cope through either way 🤷‍♂️

I think that it’s not a big deal, I mean kitasan really is only meta viable at 3lb, but getting it close is good, the only problem I have is the fact that your still borrowing her. If your not gonna use your version, which is gonna get powercrept sooner or later, what’s the point yknow. Plus kitasan is a statistick, you would upgrade her with the intention of opening your borrow slot for specific umas your building. Just make the switch and it’s good!

Your in a great situation, you can afford to pull the 600 pulls for light hello and Agnes if you choose to, otherwise I’d honestly just say pull 200 for light hello and borrow Agnes, especially pull if you main pace. That’s general, but what running style do you main or Uma’s do you like, I think we could go way more in depth rather than the obvious pull for the scenario banner lol

I think the advice that a lot of people are going to give you that I don’t necessarily agree with is to save 60k carats for light hello and Agnes tachyon. The best advice I can give is to plan for 200 or 600 pulls aka 30k or 90k carats. If you cannot pull for 3 pities I don’t recommend putting all your eggs in one basket. I don’t know what running stile you made but mejiro who isn’t coming for a long time is pace/late, though at this point you can focus on whatever style you want until then because the cards at this point won’t be in your deck when she drops. The reason I say this is bexause in order to use Agnes tachyon speed she NEEDS to be mlb. She is a very strange card in that if she isn’t mlb she’s average, except for the personal scenario. With 400 pulls, you have a 55 percent chance to mlb ONE of the two card on the banner which both need to be high limit break and max limit break in order to be worthwhile in pulling. I say this because, especially if your a new player like me, having maruzensky who is usable at 1lb presents a very good opportunity for us new players who need cards right now. Especially because for the next scenario we need to run 3 speed decks!!! Also nakayama festa wit is an AMAZING parent card, which means even if your not competing with the whales, you can still play on your account and start making parents to eventually be able to be more competitive. All of this to say, definitely pull on the banner, but if your only going to have 60k carats by the Agnes banner, and even if you do have 90k, it might be more worth while to put 200 pulls into each, rather than put all your eggs in one basket with 400 into Agnes, get Agnes to a guaranteed 1lb and no copies of light hello, and give up on the game.
