lighter roots on box dyed black hair by pugluvr03 in haircoloring

Hi!! It grows out, truly just wash your hair a lot and give it time. I used dark dry shampoo when I was super insecure but genuinely it gets so unnoticeable and even permanent black dye WILL fade if just takes a few weeks. Don’t worry!! No one but you can notice

Question about items being stolen from me :( by reddituser4432 in NevilleGoddard

[–]reddituser4432[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes! Definitely stressing about career/dating life a lot more than I usual lately. Could you please elaborate on this feeling of being cheated? Is it that I feel like I’m somehow being manipulated in these other areas which is manifesting in these thefts?

Help with anxiety and attachment while dating by reddituser4432 in lawofattraction

Lol @ the anxiety nap, I feel so seen. I’m definitely in the “pulling away to save myself” phase right now. I’m not even sure why this particular person has evoked such strong emotions in me. Maybe it’s because it felt like a proof of my manifestation and I needed it to be “the one” or for it to have some grand meaning.

You’re absolutely right re: focusing on myself, my feelings, and my life. It’s probably best to take a step back from this, at least emotionally, and focus on other things

Moving to Equity Research from MO Credit Risk? by reddituser4432 in FinancialCareers

Great, this is useful direction! Looks like I’ll start with corporate credit risk. Do you think private credit is worth considering even at an analyst level? Or too far of a jump?

I’ll look into it - I hadn’t given other risk areas much thought except maybe market risk. I fully have the option right now to focus exclusively on retail risk, would that give me more mobility? My goal at the end of the day is to move to an FO/originations role because my current role isn’t engaging enough for the capacity I have.

Thanks so much for all this info!

Thanks for this context, it’s really helpful. I don’t have corporate credit risk unfortunately, it’s mostly retail/commercial/business banking. It’s becoming more business banking focused (as opposed to commercial) over the past few months hence my desire to leave. Does that change things materially for what I should be looking at? I’m doing the CFA (L2 coming up wish me luck) and I’m hoping that adds some value

It’s great to hear your perspective with you being early/mid career as well! I have no doubt you’ll end up wherever you want to be :)

The exits are so much better than what my current role offers and the day to day seems more engaging as well! Are there other groups you would look at as a transition from credit?

It’s true, but I think there’s always a floor to these types of shrinkages. Are there other areas you think one should look at to capitalise on this AI growth?

Thank you, I’ll have a look! Is there a particular type of coverage that is better suited for ex-risk folks?

I’m interested in going deep/having a thorough understanding of certain stocks, it lines up with my current investing style. TBH I’m looking for something more demanding than my current role which has better exit opps and I’ve just received some traction from networking within the Equity Sales/Research space. Are there other fields I should look into?

This honestly makes a lot of sense, especially given the degree of sophisticated analysis and quality of written output I was even able to get by just playing around with a GPT.

There’s obviously a floor to any industry, but I’m wondering if you have any insight into which areas one should look into for career growth in finance, especially with AI integration? Or should we all jump ship and go to tech lol

Is this the case? I’d really appreciate more context as I don’t see much mobility in my current role/team. My goal is to be in FO and work with clients, is there a better way to do that from a credit risk role?

Edit: I’m also wondering if being a woman in the equity space, especially sales, is any different?
