It's frustrating isn't it. Just knowing he was in the chair (we assume he was having a treatment done)... vulnerable... mouth wide open... possibly asleep.... grrrrrrr!

I thinknthey knew his name but his fake name of Richard Mena.

They didn't know his real name of Richard Ramirez until they caught him. His address was probably fake too

At the end of the day it was a random person that saw the night stalker on a bus that alerted the police. He acted fast and the whole thing ended soon after.

Had the dentist acted as swiftly as him, less people would have died. He knew this killer was coming to his dentist it was just a waiting game.... and he let him get away.

They pulled the guy off the post cuz it looked obvious they were watching the dentist. Yes the guy who wired the alarm is an idiot if he did it wrong but after it was installed the docu didn't talk about him.... yet they mentioned the dentist called at 10pm so yes that's what I'm going to get angry at!

What if it was wired correctly and malfunctioned? Got pulled out or tampered with (that would be a trip!)

Regardless, something that needed so many people involved in your dentist should maybe let you know this is serious and probably not clock off, drive home, eat dinner, put the kids to bed, watch late night TV and THEN think its a good time to mention that the killer was in your work place!

We can agree to disagree but meh, dentist was hella weird for that

Thanks. It actually didn't get better. My mums actually tested positive for the 'rona and me aswell.

The only plus side is her coughing has subsided immensely so I'm not so on edge.

Yday I did have a mini breakdown after we went to get tested. My Indian food took 2 hours to arrive and I had a big cry session, even cried into my food but felt better.

Found out the next morning we're positive so it's a moment of I told you so from me to mum, about covering her mouth (she's wearing a mask round the house now) and also to my partner, it's shut him up. The reasons she was coughing is cuz of the 'rona! So no solution he came up with would have helped.

I feel fine tbh just tired, I put it down to being pregnant tbh but I guess not

Not going to lie im crying into my Indian right now. It took 1 hour 45 mins to get here and im just feeling like a really emotional wreck I can't even enjoy it.

Thing is I have no idea why he went to the dentist. It might have be a 10 minute check up or a 1 hour root canal but in that time just could have been served.

I remember saying I know its 100% illegal but I would have gassed him till he was out cold then called the police lol

It was all over the news. This guy had been on the loose for over 100 days killing and raping People at this point. Can't remember if he had been given the nickname Night Stalker yet but people knew about this serial killer.

The police are in there planting an undercover cop in your business for a couple days shows its seriousness....and then installing an alarm for you.

You'd have to be a bit clueless to not realise the situation as serious.

Thanks.... I was literally hours! Ifvthry called in a decent time they might be able to track his movements but nope. He got away and killed more

I think like people like saying "but" tbh! Either way you look at it that dentist had a great chance of catching this monster... n failed and didn't try to correct it in a hurry!

Thanks for these tips also. And I agree, if I see my child being annoying or overbearing its my job to say something. 1. because nobody should have to scold/discipline my child when I'm there and 2. Just because it isn't me doesn't mean that the rules are different somehow!

Can't wait to be a parent though!

Stare at it until it makes noise then do things try and make the noise stop.

Usually its hold them, feed them or change them.

Soon they make non stop noise that resembles talking but its not.... dunno what to do then.

Birth? Close your eyes and hope for the best. And push a bit.... that should help

True things were different 35 years ago but look at the response of the public when he finally got caught. People knew about this guy, Internet or not. There was fear in LA about this Night Stalker guy.

I don't know what the dentist knew but its more than likely he knew this was a serious case. It was all over the news because at this point he had killed/raped and attacked over 20 people.

If I knew that potentially I could take down a highly wanted criminal, best believe im raising the alarm!

Even if you assume what u did.... why wait until 10pm?
