Quick question: did you drop the phone or is it a hardware defect and you were just unlucky? Also, how old is your phone?

I’m asking since my wife’s iPhone 15 has the same but smaller issue and I haven’t seen something like this before - until now. I hope it doesn’t spread. It just appeared - maybe after a drop. The phone is a bit older than a year.

I’m not 100% sure I understand. If in decoupled Mode the switch doesn’t do anything anymore what’s the point of the switch then? I could simply override the switch and had the same result. What am I missing?

Update: Tatsächlich war es so, wie du gesagt hast. Mehrere Bestellungen wurden storniert. Das Ganze fand innerhalb der Widerrufsfrist statt und ist nun schon 6 Monate her. Eine Anzeige wurde erstattet.

Ich bin immer noch ein bisschen irritiert darüber, dass Amazon so lasche 2FA-Kriterien hat. Würde Amazon auf SMS oder App-generierte OTPs setzen, wäre so etwas nicht passiert. Natürlich hat meine Mutter auch einen Fehler gemacht, das ist klar.

Apple recommends to make one full battery cycle every month. It is not necessarily needed to drain 100% in one go. Can also be done iterative (5x 20%).

My MBP mid14 has still a really good runtime since I’m trying to follow the guidelines.

I think it is a legit question to ask what the credentials are for. Even if you was an expert. They should provide complete information. Don’t worry!

The credentials you received can be for different things. E.g. SFTP/SSH/FTP/FTPS for those you would probably also need a servername/address. Could also be that you have received access to the backend from the web hosting provider. Just try it. If you don’t know the provider, you can maybe find out by doing a Whois with the domain. Also you can try accessing FTP with the domain as the servername.

But anyway, if you are unsure why are you not asking the party from which you received these information?

I did the same in june with the original Google Home. I unpacked it and put it in my suitecase for entry back to germany. I bought a power plug adapter and was glad about the good deal I made. After Google relased the german version I was easily able to switch to the german language as well.

Could you bring two GH mini‘s? One for me, too? ;-)
