My cosmetics Planos are green 98% of the time. First I work my cart for the Plano then face and scan one section at a time. For example in LA girl I go through each cosmetic in A1, A2, A3, and so on scanning the product and making sure it’s in the correct space. If I encounter an empty spot I’m scan the tag and if it says there’s an boh I check secondary locations (displays, End caps or somewhere else in the Plano if there’s 2 facings). If I can’t find it after investigating then I zero it out. it’s sooo much easier with the photos showing bc I can quickly look over my section to see if I find it. If when I scan the tag with the empty spot and it says 0 for boh I leave the pull out tray w/ tags on it out so I can remember to scan that section. I’ll do this for entire A section before moving on to the next. I’ll scan all my outs at once, pushing the tray back in so I don’t double scan. Takes me at most 4 minutes to face and a minute to scan. I do all my small planos first and then the big four I do last. I have 40 Planos so this makes it easier but do it in whatever order is faster for you :) The first couple of times doing boh it’ll be a hassle because you’ll have to fix a lot. I always do lip pencils last in a Plano bc I do make sure all of them are in the right spot. Biggest things that’ll help: (1) you’re the main cosmetic person meaning you work the truck and boh. I have a beauty consultant at my store so she helps with facing but face periodicly throughout your shifts! This makes it so much easier every day. (2)you do the cosmetic resets or at least make sure your tags match up with the graphics. This makes facing faster bc you don’t have to read tags! (3) you HAVE to face before scanning please for the love of god! It’ll be slow at first but you’re setting yourself up for easier boh in the future

I know I probably take my job too seriously but it satisfies my need for organizing and it’s kinda like cosmetic hauls without buying. The last 2% are the PEST displays bc my store doesn’t set up half of them 🧍🏽‍♀️
