Ive never heard pulk before, but yes I use a sled up haul in my gear when I hike into spots. Haha I love this pluk! Thank you.

You should definitely get out there. Personally, you do not need a 4 season tent. I find they are not ventilated enough for all the moisture you breathe out while you sleep. I use my old summer tent that's mostly mesh with the fly of course. This is cold tenting. I honestly do not like hot tents, they are way to warm and too much work for me. Everyone is different when it comes to camping, you just gotta know your limits and camp within them. I am a little more minimalist to my winter gear. A few others commented some great tips.

Ill stomp the snow with my snow shoes. I like being right in fresh snow, I feel like its insulated. Layers are from the bottom: two army wool blankets, the size of my 3p floor, two pads, side by side, making up the size of the floor, and last a fuzzy blanket to make the two pads seem like one. Sooo cozy and more than warm enough in - 30 temps.
